Choosing a bouquet

A single-variety bouquet looks elegant and clear. Rose bouquets are the classic for love and anniversaries, tulips mean spring and Women's Day on 8 March, and lilies impress with their size and scent. A mixed bouquet gives the florist more freedom to combine colors, textures and greenery into something more natural. If you like flowers that match the time of year, choose a seasonal bouquet.

Match the bouquet to the person and the occasion: bright colors for birthdays and congratulations, pastels for thanks, white and muted tones for funerals. Ideas for specific occasions, from birthdays to thank-yous, are in the occasion sections. Think about size, too: a large bouquet needs a tall, heavy vase, while a small flat is better served by a neat, compact one. If the recipient has no vase, look at flowers in a vase.

Caring for a bouquet

A few simple steps keep cut flowers going for days longer:

  • Recut the stems at an angle by 1 to 2 cm with a sharp knife or pruning shears.
  • Strip any leaves that would sit below the waterline; they rot and spoil the water.
  • Use a clean vase with lukewarm water; tulips prefer it cold.
  • Change the water and trim the stems every two days.
  • Keep the bouquet away from radiators, direct sun and the fruit bowl, because ripening fruit speeds up wilting.

How ordering works

Start with the recipient's address, because each florist has its own delivery area. Then choose a bouquet, a delivery day and a time slot, add a card if you like, and pay with BLIK. We email you when the florist accepts the order and again once it has been delivered, and you can check the order status in your account at any time.

Frequently asked questions

How long does a bouquet last?

It depends on the flowers and the care. Roses and tulips usually last about a week, lilies and carnations often longer, delicate seasonal flowers less. Changing the water and trimming the stems makes a clear difference.

How do I pay?

With BLIK: you enter the six-digit code from your Polish banking app and confirm the payment on your phone. The order goes to the florist once the payment is confirmed.

Can I order a bouquet for a specific day?

Yes. At checkout you pick a delivery day from the dates the florist offers, plus a time slot. If a day is missing, the florist may be closed or already fully booked.

What is the difference between a bouquet, flowers in a vase and a flower box?

A bouquet arrives tied and needs a vase of your own. Flowers in a vase are ready to display straight away, and a flower box is an arrangement in a box, usually set in floral foam that only needs a little water from time to time.
